Visitation rules

• Smoking, drinking, making noise and littering in Pažaislis territory is strictly prohibited.
• Pets are not allowed to the territory of the monastery.
• Persons arriving with roller skates, scooters, bicycles, skateboards, who do not wish to leave their equipment at the premises of the administration, are asked to leave the territory.
• It is forbidden to take photographs and/or film with professional equipment in the entire territory of the ensemble without the written permission of the Director of the Pažaislis Tourism Centre or the permission of the General Superior of the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Casimir.
• It is forbidden to use drones and other hang gliders on the territory of the monastery.
• It is forbidden to touch sacred objects, paintings, display cases, electrical or other equipment in the church and museum exhibition.

Opening hours on November - March

Thursday, Friday 10 AM - 5 PM
(last entrance till 4.30 PM)

Saturday 10 AM - 3.30 PM
(last entrance till 3 PM)

April 1- 6 (Holy week of Easter) - Pažaislis Culture and Tourism centre will not be working

From April 7 we will be open Tuesday–Saturday during the above-mentioned hours.

Monday is our day of silence - we are closed to visitors.

On Sundays Pažaislis Culture and Tourism Centre is closed, only St. Mass is held at 11:00 AM (the gates of the monastery are open from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM). No guided tours on Sundays.

Pažaislis Culture and Tourism Centre reserves the right to change opening hours.

Regarding guided tours: there is no local guide at the Pažaislis. Guided tours are led by professional Kaunas city guides. Tours need to be booked in advance. For contact of guides, please contact us at +37037458868 or email info@pazaislis.org

Entrance ticket prices:

For adult - 10 eur
For schoolchildren, student, senior - 5 eur
Free entrance for:
* Children under 7 years of age;
* Disabled persons and one accompanying person (when the disabled person's working capacity is 0-25% or disability group I);
* Members of tourist firms, guide guild;
* Persons aged 80 years and over.
